Snowy Night Freebie Kit Day 3 ~ The Elements
This week I have been the part of another wonderful collab with not just one, but two of my fellow STS designers; De of Flower Scraps & Janice of JW-Digiscraps. The theme and colors of this kit were inspired by a personal experience of mine. The first snow of the season we got last year came at night in the form of huge slowly falling snowflakes. My 2-year old son and husband got all bundled up and I turned on our big outside security lights. The lights lit up the falling snow in such a way that it looked magical as it slowly fell and my son jumped and squealed in delight. It is a memory that will forever be engraved in my heart and mind. Throughout the whole week you will get a part of the kit. On Friday we have an extra special treat for you as well, so make sure to come back each day.
These are just a few of the wonderful layouts created by The Scrappy Kat Creative Team, I will share more with you tomorrow.

Win A Mini-Kit & $5 Gift Card to The Scrappy Kat Store
Okay, so each year I send out a newsletter along with my Christmas cards. I do want to say though, I am not one of those annoying people that just brag about how wonderful their husband's job is and about how perfect and talented their children are. LOL. Because we live at least 8 hours away from our nearest relative, we use the newsletter to let everyone know the events of our lives throughout that year, even though it is to me mostly quite boring.
Anyway, starting last year I started making my own background for the 8 1/2 x 11 newsletter and included photos and all that jazz too(Before I got into digi-scrapping I just used the preprinted papers that you can buy). Basically it looked like a scrapbook page with LOTS of journaling. I got to thinking about it today and that I needed to start putting mine together.
I decided that I would do a RAK, but in the form of a contest. I will give you until December 15th, to post your creative newsletter here in the STS forum. It can be the full newsletter including text, or if you would rather the world not know your "business" , just post the background including header or photos and whatever you want to include. :-) I am interested in seeing what everyone else does. If you don't do a newsletter, then post your homemade holiday card.
I will be giving everyone who participates a participation prize(a little Christmas mini) and then I will do a random drawing for 1 person to receive a $5 coupon to my store.
Happy Holidays and can't wait to see what you all come up with!
